Hey there, I'm Lindsey! I'm a co-owner of The Barn Salon and Spa, a Keystone and LCJVS Cosmetology grad class of 2004 and my 2 kiddos are wildcats now too. I love the sense of family and camaraderie we have here in our small town!

When I'm not at The Barn working with guests I'm in the classroom teaching balayage to hairstylists.  On my days off I love being outside working in my yard, taking care of my garden, tent camping, fishing and boating with my family,  or at the softball field or volleyball court. I am always on the go!

I've been working at the chair since graduating from the Lorain County JVS in 2004 and I've experienced many different avenues of the industry such as being employed at a chain salon, to a full service salon, to managing our own salon. Now my career is taking another turn into education. I am a Sunlights Professional Educator teaching my fellow hairstylists the art of hand painted balayage. This technique allows me to be creative in the way I can place light and darkness to accentuate a persons features and desired look. I love teaching and having the opportunity to elevate the beauty industry in this way. However, I could never imagine not seeing my guests at the salon. I think it's the most creative expression for me to give and for the guest to receive. I hope you'll allow me to paint the day away with you!

I love that my work has the power to make a difference in the way someone sees themselves. It's truly so rewarding!  I'd love to share it with you! You can visit my site and follow me on my social media to see some of my work below:
