I'm Kara and I'm so excited to be seeing guests at The Barn again! I started my journey here when I was an intern during cosmetology school. At the time I graduated there wasn't an opening at The Barn so I went elsewhere to gain some experience. Two years later here I am back to my roots and it feels like it's meant to be!

Over those two years I learned that I have a love for all things highlighting and even a splash of some fun colors now and then! I've also taken every opportunity to attend classes to soak up as much as I can about the skills I really want to fine tune and I have to say, I really love being in the classroom and the fact that there's so much to learn all of the time.

In my free time I take care of my cow that I grew up with showing in the 4H program where I now volunteer as an advisor to bring up the next generation of kids. It truly is my other passion so if I'm not at the salon you can usually find me in the barn...the other barn lol!

For right now I'll be taking clients on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and as I grow I hope to open up more days to accommodate more guests!
